TIM HOLSTEIN
Producer/Company Director

Tim Holstein is a drama specialist hailing from the Fraser Coast area. He has been performing for the better part of 20 years – a passion which was ignited the moment he first set foot onstage at the tender age of 5.

Tim always knew that he wanted a career in the performing arts - so much so that he found himself studying a degree at the ‘Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music’. After a number of very intensive years of study, Tim later graduated (with distinction), in a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, majoring in Musical Theatre and Dramaturgy.

Although Tim has always loved performing, it was his studies at the Con that finally allowed him to realise where his true passions lay - the development and creation of theatre. In response, Tim has effectively forged a career out of writing and directing community-engagement projects. Some of his successes include the critically acclaimed ‘Safety Circus’ and the Schoolies-centric ‘CHOICES!’ which have both since toured North Queensland, and have performed at hundreds of schools and community centres.

Tim is passionate about education, and as a champion for the arts, will make sure students are given the best possible instruction and opportunities
